macbook (osx) vs windows....for a programmer who will be working with Java, php,...

    ...C#(.Net) & Objective C.? hi
i am just getting into programming and I have to buy a llaptop. The way it looks right now, I will be programming a lot of php(server scripting), java and .Net. I might also get into making iPhone apps using Objective C (for fun).

What would be a good choice to buy a laptop? macbook or windows?
does osX even support .Net framework? what about windows supporting Objective C?

Business wise: most of the software companies use C or one of the .Net languages....so it would only make sense to buy windows unless i really want to work for Apple later on in life.does this seem right?

as for terminal access on osX....cant I use putty to do the same stuff on windows?
yes Lisa. thats why i am asking if osX supports .net
