My roomates and I have been missing remote controls after throwing parties (4 so far) and I cant imagine why someone would want them. 2 were not even universal...Also a penny keeps dissapearing and reappearing in the bottom of the toilet. In certain cases something creepy has happened such as hearing breathing when no one else is home, or a guitar strumming itself.

are you catholic? because we don't believe in ghosts because when your dead you are gonna rise in heaven or under hell or porgatory! you cant go back to earth!

It sounds to me like you have yourself a house fairy. Brownies are notorious for hiding things and replacing them to trick you. Nothing to be afraid of, an honor really. Google "house fairy" or "brownie" and read about them.

Generally talking to them will help them stop their shenanigans. They don't like smoke, but are known for helping with chores around the house if you're kind to them. They like shiny things, and can be persuaded to calm down if you leave them something out, like a penny or a crystal, and let them know it's just for them. Good luck!

people steal stuff to make other annoyed you know, plus the guitar strumming.. wind? you can just be hearing things, im sure theres nothing, but if your really afraid get a preist or a monk or something and get then to do some blessing i dont know.. but im sure its nothing.

The Penny probably won't go down the drain and keeps appearing. Also, there taking them at parties just to mess with you. As for the breathing, maybe a vent? I can't explain the guitar strumming itself though.
