You can wear as much camo as you like - what is not allowed is wearing rank or unit insignia. Even actual personnel take them out when they are off-duty.
My husband wears army bdu pants and army undershirts all the time and he is not in the military. His father is retired Navy and buys them for him on base all the time, also you can buy them at army surplus stores.
Civilians purchase military clothing all the time. there are as many Military surplus stores as walmarts in parts of the country. People use military surplus clothing to go hunting , or play paintball, to go fishing etc...
What will get you into trouble by law is trying to impersinate a member of the military, and attempt to gain access to a military installation, or by claming titles or medals you have not earned.
Yeah I'm sure its okay. As long as you don't go in full camoflauge so people don't freak out or something.
yes but dont do anything stupid like start wearing rank or impersonating military people that might be illegal
Yes, you can wear the full uniform so long as the name rank and service patch are removed
You can wear whatever you want, even insignia.
But it's illegal to flagrantly impersonate military personnel.
It's also illegal to wear decorations or awards that you haven't earned. Yes, civilians HAVE been arrested for impersonating high ranking officers and wearing unauthorized ribbons and medals.
