How much should be the internet speed so that I can use voice and video chatting/ p?

Some one told me that there are 4 different types of speed.

760 KBS

1.5 MBS Mega Bites per second

3 MBS

and 5 or 6 Mega Bites per second.

So what is the speed I need?
