    How do I transfer recorded songs from my Yamaha to my pc?

    Hi I have the Yamaha DGX 220 and it doesn't seem you can transfer the songs that you recorded with the "user" that u get in the song category, can it be transfered?

    You can output the midi file via usb but this just contains note data, key data etc.. not the actual sound.

    If you want to transfer the sounds aswell you will need to record it into the pc. You need a cable from the phones/output socket on the DGX to the line in on your soundcard. You also need some software to do the actual recording. There is loads of different recording software, a very basic free one is Audacity.
