Has anyone else quit smoking since Obamngo's communist tax hikes?

I quit about 6 weeks ago after Obango hiked the taxes so its like $5/pack here in NC. Anyways, I'm kinda glad for his communist taxes otherwise I would be still smoking. Thanks Obango! By the way, I'm dead serious, I really did quit smoking.

Tobacco taxes have been steep for years and, no, 99% of smokers don't quit because the prices rises. Its an elastic market...thats WHY the feds and the states tax it so heavily.

Try $8 plus a 6% sales tax in Michigan at Walmart!

I quit years ago at a pack and a half a day.

Who can afford it any more???

Buy on-line or use bulk tobacco.

I guess I shouldn't tell you that the tobacco companies lowered prices soon after--instead of going up $6 a carton here, they only went up $3.

If you have it rough, wait for the people from non-tobacco states to tell you what they pay.

Nope, I still smoke. I only pay $10 more for a carton of Marlboros. I'd rather him tax alcohol. I don't drink, but I'm sure it would make others not drink causing less DUIs and deaths of innocents on the roads.
