Personally I have always owned Ford or Toyota vehicles. Right now I don't see a reason to change that.

The car company that is run by the telephone exec that doesnt know anything about cars is no threat to Ford Motor Co.

    No.
First he'll go after the foreign car companies that have NON-UNION plants in this country. Toyota, Nissan, Honda...those are the guys in the crosshairs.
Now that GM doesn't have to make money to stay in business, they can undercut anyone's price any time they want. So long as Ford has a smaller market share than them, they will leave them alone.

Wait up, you think the government can actually run a car company good enough to run Ford out of business ?

Thank you for the laugh of the day.

GM has nobody but themselves, their leaders, and their poor business model to blame for bringing the company to its knees. The repercussions of that business failing would have been devastating to the US economy with its widespread ripple effect.

By the way, although Ford assembles its vehicles in this country, most of its parts are manufactured in China. Bite on that apple!
