I was just wondering what happens if you consume products like Red Bull, Relentless, Lucozade, on a regular basis, but also Protein shakes, then work out to gain muscle(body building), I'm just starting off, I wonder what the effects of mixing it would be, good, bad or neutral, or should I just cut out the energy drinks and have protein shakes alone, I don't want to lose energy however, so I hope if I give up energy drinks the protein shakes will provide me enough energy.

Please give me information, if you don't know, don't answer, don't guess, and don't tell me both give energy, because I already know that and it isn't the question.

Information you can add as extras could be recipes of protein shakes to make them taste nicer, and list foods which are high in protein(other than meat and nuts, because I already know that).

I'm just starting off so any other tips for gaining muscle would help, thanks.
