    How Do I Know If i can put disc breaks on my bicycle?

    its a raleigh serengeti from, CDN Tire.

    im usuing the regular pull breaks but i would like to at least replace the front with disc breaks thanks.

    your fork needs to have two points on the left leg (sitting on the seat looking down to the left leg on the fork) that will accomodate the caliper. These two holes will be either 54mm apart or 73mm apart and are where the caliper will seat in the mount. If you dont have these two holes with threads then you cannot put them on without having a fork so equipped. Not to mention you need a wheel that is either 6 bolt disc compatible or one that is centerlock disc compatible. If the fork isnt equipped then I would suggest that you just stick with what you already have and NOT upgrade a bike that isnt disc ready unless you are really in "love" with it.
