Yes Adam and Eve lived around 5000 B.C. . . . if you believe the Biblical account and just add up all the generations to work out a date.

So everything before then, Dinosaurs, Neanderthals and all the rest, gets squeezed into the seven days bit. And since Adam witnessed the ccreation of ALL the animals, and his actual life span given in years, then those seven days had to be literal days.

Maybe God had a pencil and an erasor. ANd dinos and neanderthals lasted but one day.

Do you actually have proof that neanderthals existed? The very few skeletal remains that are supposedly from that time are just a few bones. "Java Man" was "recreated" from a skull cap (not a full skull), a femur, and a few teeth. The image we've seen in biology textbooks of "Java Man" is an artist's recreation based on those few bones and what it *should* look like if it were the "missing link." Then there's Lucy. Again, less than half the skeletal remains and nothing that proves she looked the way the artist rendering of her looks. Besides, the timing on those is based on carbon dating, which has been proven time and again to be highly inaccurate.
