    Can you put castrol oil in a 1988 honda accord lx?

    just wanna know so i wont have to damage anything if i do change oils

    Yes of course. I would only stay away from full synthetic oils. Being that they tend to leak more on older cars. Personally, I would use the castrol high millage oil, it's in a green jug.

    As long as the grade of oil meets the manufactures specs then yes.
