    How can you test the PH of your fish tank ?

    I was wondering how can i test the PH of my fish tank ?

    You need to buy a test kit (or a pet store can do it for you, but be wary they can give you dodgy results!).

    I recommend the API Master Test Kit, this will test pH as well as ammonia, nitrate and nitrite. Liquid kits are far more accurate than strips and the latter three properties are more important to keep an eye on than pH, indeed a ammonia spike usually results in a pH spike too.

    Go to the pet store and get a PH test kit. There usually vary easy to do and give the results right away.
