Thread: Wheel of Time or Lord Of The Rings?

Don't have time to read both. Which series should I start?
I haven't watched the LOTR movies yet. I like books more than movies.

Lord of the Rings. You just can't beat the classics. I will admit, they are a very heavy read, and there is a HUGE amount of description, but once you get into them, they are enjoyable

Wheel of Time... because you probably know the story of LOTR because it's only in the movies...

I would say LotR, even though I love both series. The reason? LotR is only a 3-book series... 4, if you include The Hobbit.

The Wheel of Time has about 12 books in it.

Start the shorter series first, finish it, then start the other one. That way you can enjoy both!

I have never even heard of Wheel of Time - LOLR every time!
