    It is hard to say without knowing more about the situation. However you aren't under any obligation to repair his car, so long as you have one that works, or include him under your insurance. If he won't drive safely he can pay for his car himself. If he can pay for the other car have him do so, if not pay yourself as it is courteous to the other driver and have him pay you back.

    I think it depends on whether he was being careless when it happened. If so ya some discipline is okay to make him remember not to be doing what he was doing when it happened again. If it was just an accident im sure it scared him enough.

    Well.....it depends on how experienced he is. If he's a new driver, don't get mad at him. New drivers make mistakes! But if he's like...18+, then i would say tell him to help pay for repairs, or if he has a job, have him pay for the full amount. Or at least almost all of it. Depending on the work situation.
