I got a speeding ticket about a month ago in Nassau NY for 80 mph in a 55mph zone on my motorcycle. I have a previous parking ticket it and I'm currently doing community service for a petit larceny charge. Tomorrow is my appear in court date because I did not send the ticket in. I was told by my lawyer that will cost $250 to plead not guilty and get a new court date but do you think that I will be able to plea bargain myself down to a similar charge my lawyer would fight for or should I hire the lawyer?
is tomorrow just a court date to plead or if the cop dosnt show up may it get dropped and will i be screwing myself by telling them i have a lawyer and the cops not there?
