Thread: I babysit a little boy, 9 months old who constantly cries and whines. If he's fed and changed he still cries.

He also puts EVERYTHING, I mean everything in his mouth. He will search for things to eat dirt, hair, paper, leaves, grass, cords. He'll even reach under the couch. I need help. If he gets a hold of stuff it's ruined with slobber in like 2 seconds. I have 4 kids, and have never experianced this.
HELP!!!

well, i dont know what kind of kids you had but as one of seven and one of my own i learned that all children put everything in thdeir mouth- the other day my fiances little cousin swallowed a rock! you obviously cant handle it maybe he cries because he wants mum. he sounds like a normal 9 month old to me

well, i babysit a 6.5 month old girl and a 6 wk. baby and the 6.5 month old does the exact same... SHE IS TEETHING!! they like to chew on whatever they can get a hold on.. so maybe you should get some teething pain reliever or possibly a teething ring that vibrates and soothes.. that's what i have for her.
