    Where is the On board Diagnostic Port for a 2002 Suzuki XL-7?

    I signed up for the "My Rate" program from progressive, and I cant find it anywhere. Please help me. =]

    Someone might be able to answer more specifically, but since nobody else has answered yet I guess I can give you some possible answers. Most cars have the OBD-II port in the driver's side footwell. Look underneath and behind the plastic panel under the steering wheel and there should be a trapezoidal plug. Sometimes they are very close to the left side and sometimes they're to the right by the center console. Some cars have the OBD port in the same sort of place, but on the passenger side. Volvos and Saabs have it inside the actual center console. You lift the lid and there's a port that says "OBD" near the cup holders. By law, OBD-II ports have to be within three feet of a driver and require no tools to get to. I would say that a Suzuki's is most likely on the left side of the driver's footwell near the hood release. Hope this helps.
