the here and now? Ok random question which hails from to much The Mummy movie marathons.

All I'm wondering is the Medjai even existed? if they still do? or am I just stabbing in the dark and they are movie based fiction

They is exist as exactly portrayed in the movies but over time it changed to a millibars force, in which you had to be Egyptian background.
The it changed to a police force in which anyone could join.
But to this date and age it no longer exists. L
