Look for a product called Zero Odor, this will get rid of the smell. You should first test it on a small inconspicuous spot to test for color fast. I am not sure if it is recomended for suede but I would at least try.

Reason 238 not to have a cat. Since you do, you're stuck. Most home deodorizers will probably fade the material. When my dog is sprayed by a skunk, a mixture of hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and dish detergent works miracles. Unfortunately the hydrogen peroxide will probably fade your sofa. Pet stores do sell natural solutions which help, but they are expensive. The reality is, once a cat "sprays" anything, the stench never subsides. You should have bought a dog.

use the recently skinned hide of the animal that did the urinating. Something in it's own blood that will neutralize the odors.

try using vinegar. I've had the same problem with my cats..not on a suede sofa though (those are just not kid friendly :) ) Also, you can put mothballs in a sock and shake it..cover the couch with the "dust" of the mothballs..Cats hate the smell. Good luck!
