Thread: Who was your favourite and least favourite singer from the Madchester early-nineties

period? My favourite would probably be Tom from Inspiral Carpets cos he had a good strong voice and good range. But Tim from james would run him a close second, IMHO.
My least favourite would be Dermo from Northside who always went off-key live (though that said, he was still a good frontman in terms of getting the crowd going, and did help write some really cool songs).
So who would your favourite and least favourite Madchester-era singer be?

My favourite would probably be Shaun Ryder from the Happy Mondays and my least favourite would be Ian Brown as he actuallly canot sing live. I absoluely love The Stone Roses but Ian Brown live is terrible - bless him. OK maybe this is late 80s.
