how come federal judges cant carry a gun in the court room?

it would seem logical that they would be able to carry their own gun in the courtroom incase a defendant sneaks his own weapon in there and goes crazy. who is suppose to protect these judges, and why doesnt the law allow them to carry inside their own court rooms?

Federal judges are allowed to carry a firearm into a courtroom. Why do you think they aren't?

I don't know if they are allowed to or not, but I do know the U.S. Marshall deputies do. That's what they're there for.. to protect U.S. Judges.
