It's something that's sorely missing from many games now.
Also, I'm kind of tired of the energy regeneration systems in games that originated with Halo. It makes games almost brain-dead. In Halo, it worked, but in other games, it's just kind of stupid.

metalgear 1 had many great bosses
psycho mantis,sniper wolf,volcan raven
liquid!! and ocelot..
