    Malaysian friends, do u think it is a loss when u are English educated?

    me, myself is an English educator. i never studied chinese(mandarin) before in my entire education years (neither kindergarten, primary nor secondary schools). and i feel it is a loss when i never studied chinese before and there are a lot of chinese companies require chinese educated people to work for them. so, do u think it is a loss for u if u are an english educated?

    It is not a loss but it is always better to learn more languages. It is still not too late for you to learn Chinese. In western countries, many people have started to learn Chinese be they students or working adults because all of them acknowledge the emergence China's economy and they do not want to miss reaping from this. You can start by learning spoken Mandarin first.
