    When I have a child, I will wait until he's old enough to understand and comprehend religion, maybe 12 or 13. I will tell him about all the religions, including Christianity and atheism, and hopefully he/she will choose wisely.

    I taught both of mine about the Bible at a very young age. When they were 3-4, I would work some Bible verses into bedtimes stories for them.

    i'm catholic, so i guess i'll start at baptism. but i'll teach my children about acceptance of other people's religions, cultures and lifestyles at the same time.

    My daughter goes to catholic school (The public schools in my city are dangerous and teach only by accident.)
    I never told her I was atheist.
    She became an atheist on her own...well the school REALLY helped

    My son started his religious education at birth. I started deprogramming him at age 10. He's 15 now, very well educated and an Atheist .
