SPANISH SPEAKERS AND CULTURE listen to this drama and help please.?

what would you do if your boyfriend was on the phone with his friends and called you his "COMPANIA" which means company. he said this means family and stuff....but I don't beleive it knowing a little bit of spanish myself. I thought this was completely rude and disrespectful. Would you think the same way???? by the way, were legally married but I told him I wouldn't file for a green card for him unless he really wants a family with me. When we married he immediately moved out to continue living with his roommate. we've been "dating" for years now, married for over 6 months. He calls me his "girl" or mujer usually. Yet his priorities in life are his friends and hanging out at the bars. It's just one disrespectful thing after the other.

Tell me, what am I to him by what I've said so far in his spanish culture...and what do you think of him calling me his company?? Is that A HUGE SIGN OR WHAT....that this guy has ZERO INTENTION of ever being my husband, much less a good boyfriend.

BTW no I AM NOT FAT OR UGLY, I AM EDUCATED BUT I FEAR I HAVE BEEN TOTALLY MANIPULATED.

You should definitely NOT file for a green card with this guy. Compania does mean company. You're his COMPANY? That's not cool at all. I would have been furious if my bf had said that. You really need to sit down with this man and tell him your needs and ask him his. :] There's always a way to work something out. Get on the same page.

    Good luck!
