I have a 1974 Honda CB550 that runs great except it has a very high idle, the bike always fires right up and idles fine with choke but as soon as i turn off choke the bike will race to anwhere from 2500 to 3500rpm at a dead idle and reaches up to 4000-5000rpm when riding. I am worried about future problems and overheating due to this problem. I am wondering what could be the likely cause of this problem? need help finding solution..I dont have repair manuel but believe that there is a simple way to fine tune the idling on these bikes.. thanks for the help
