Help! Nair made my face red and I have a dance to go to tomorrow! What do I do?

I used facial nair on my upper lip to get rid of hair there, and I left it on for the directed amount of time, then wiped off a small amount to see if it was gone. It wasn't, so i let it stay on for the remaining five minutes. I then wiped it off as directed and noticed it was all red, so I rinsed my face with lukewarm water. This was all about 6 hours ago. It's now 4 am, and i had gotten up to get water a half hour ago, and my fae was still very red. I have school and a dance to go to tomorrow. I;ll be humiliated, but I can't let my boyfriend down by not going... And what would I tell him; that I have a nair burn? no thank you. My dad told me to put triple antibiotic cream on, so I did, but I'm not sure it's helping.

    Can anyone help?
I have no aloe vera plant or lotion

Maybe if you tired Aloe Vera
Aloe helps with all kinds of irritation

I Google nair burn and someone said if you put peanut butter on it, it helps?
    You could try that

Someone else said Vaseline on it over night will go away

just leave it seriously, poking it and putting creams on will make it worse. by the time of the dance the redness should have gone down, try holding a cold face cloth against it. if not (and it isn't sore) cover the area with concealer and makeup

LMAO.... that stuff is so bad for your skin!
Use make up to cover it up and don't use that stuff any more.
Think about it, you put it on your skin and it makes your hair dissolve out of their pores....
