    i think it is amazing. i would live there. black and white always has a great effect.

    beautiful - to intensify the effect, I would bring up the contrast on the clouds

    no, your foreground and background are mixed up. Building should be lighter, have higher contrast, and be the focal point in the photo. not the sky

    There's nothing particularly eye-catching about it. The building could be framed . Also, daytime shots (particularly white-cloud-blue-sky days) don't look interesting in black and white--save black and white for ugly days and situations with interesting lighting.

    You've got a D40, though... that's awesome. Take pictures often!
