i have an 89 chrysler mini van with turbo.can someone explain to me how to check the trouble codes. also what would couse the van to acts wierd when i puch the gas pedal all the way in when driving?

Overboost shutdown when boost limit is exceeded, maybe a vacuum leak to the wastegate , or any number of other things
