ok, i have media homework. i've google'd stuff and it just kinda comes up with loads of different media stuff that i don't want or don't really understand.
i've only started my media course this month, so i'm pretty clueless.

the questions are,
What is the media?
How did it begin?
Who are the main institutions?
How does the media influence us?
