When somebody makes such accurate predictions, he is difficult to ignore, even by people that don't like him. Besides MILLIONS love him, and even if you don't like him, he is very interesting (constant struggles with his weight problem, recovering drug addict, overcame the disability of deafness, etc.). And by the way, fat, deaf, uneducated, drug addicts usually aren't so incredibly successful (financially), so just that should make him interesting and it is why Leftists hate him. While seemingly a member of their core constituency, instead of looking for handouts, he relies on his unlimited optimism and has made himself a success - and the Left hates anyone who is self-reliant, self-confident and optimistic.
