Why do American colleges recruit foreign athletes when our own athletes can't get

foreign scholarships? Especially now in an economic crisis when budgets are tight, why is so much money wasted recruiting and educating foreign athletes at our colleges? Why is this precious resource not given to American citizens? We can't go overseas and get an athletic scholarship. There is no such thing outside the USA.

there is no such thing any where else we are the only country with enough money to waste on sports scholarship's every where else it is more important to be a productive member of society not just a sports player who by the time their 40 will be washed up
