Thread: MY ducati monster 750 boged out on me. ???

MY 01 ducati monster 750 boged out on me while I was riding it and shut off. I think it over heated? Not to sure? I let it sit for a while and it started after a while with full choke. Did it over heat or was it a fuel cut? Are these bikes known for this?

fuel cut.sounds like you gotta clean your tank, carbs/injectors, fuel filter, or all three. I dont remember if that is carbed, but i think it is, the old two valve per-head?
Anyway, if the bike sat, that is NFG. A bike that sits for more than a few months is gonna have problems exactly as you describe.
