be able to debate?
Is it necessary to be on the debate team if I want to go into law?
What extra stuff would be useful to go into this career?

It is helpful, if you plan on doing cases in court, but no a requirement.

No. There are many kinds of lawyers. Some speak in court, others never see the inside of a court room.

2. Not necesary but may be advisable, what do you have to lose?
3. English, both grammar and literature.
