Why oh why is religion endemic in all the cultures of the world?

I think it has to do with us finally gaining the capabilities of higher consciousness and not being able to answer how we gained this mysterious new capacity. you?
twinspick22: I'm speaking of distant ancestors genius. This has nothing to do with me, its an anthropological question. Apparently you cannot distinguish between egotism and simple curiousness.

This is a simple proof of the existence of God: to assert that religions exist for all cultures in peoples, nations, and languages histories.

Well at one time I think most of the world operated on a higher consciousness, practicing a solar-astrological, and most importantly a shamanic belief system... then this was turned into "religion" which is really just a trap to keep people down in the lower realms of consciousness so the masses can be easily managed by their religious-political misleaders... The ancients held some very important knowledge, that most people have lost. They knew how to break on through to the other side, it wasn't just a story to them, they would actually induce real mystical experiences.
