    has it been stolen? have you checked? perhaps it just doesnt want to anymore, or its become a spartan.

    you got enough fluid in the transmission?you have to check it in park when the car is running ,PS change your fluid at least once a year.

    your reverse band in the transmission has probably failed. the only solution is to have the transmission rebuilt. good luck.

    Toyota used a proprietary fluid for years. If you had it done at a Toyota dealer take it back right away. If it was done by you or an independent garage without the correct fluid it may have led to the problem. Hopefully it is a simple adjustment that just coincidentally occurred when the fluid was changed.
