Is it illegal to get a friend to take a photo of me trying on different dresses in

a shop? I want to show my mum because she said she'd buy one for me, and she's in a wheelchair so it's not easy for her to get into the shop.

i dont know. some shops may object. may be you can seek the shop owners/ attendants' permission and then take the pics.

    Hey :3

It's fine to take pictures. I do it in new look and dorothy perkins etc. all the time with my friends. it's totally fine. If you ask the shop assistants it's more likely to cause a scene. Just go in the changing room and take a few snaps with it on. Anyway... they dont have cameras in the changing rooms.

    Good luck!

    Lily.

It's not illegal but as a matter of courtesy you could explain to the assistant what you want to do

not illegal but some stores have policies against picture taking. they are afraid that you will take pics of their security systems, store layout, copy their exclusive designs, and their employees. ask to speak to the mgr and explain your situation
