1995 Yamaha Vmax 500 snowmobile, What kind of horse power am I looking at?

I'm looking for an engine donor for a buggy project and I found a Vmax 500 around town for pretty cheap. I have been unable to dig up any specs on the sled though...
I want to use a snowmobile engine because the CVT belt drive is similar to what ithe stock equipment on the buggy was.

I believe the V-max is a 4 cly 2-stroke, but I'm looking for horsepower and torque ratings to see if it has enough *oomph* for my dune buggy project.

    Thanks

No such thing as a 4 cylinder 2 stroke snowmobile engine, largest you could get was a triple.

That being said, look at anywhere between 70-85 horsepower. You're going to want a fan cooled engine, as you'll need a system with a Rad for a liquid cooled engine.
