    Can I update my Dell latitude c800 with windows xp home edition SP3?

    It has windows 2000 pro how do I unistall that OS and install the new one if i can the laptop is all stock

    yes, that computer will run XP just fine, as long as it has at least a half a gig of ram. If it only has 256 megs in it I'd upgrade it first. If you do upgrade, get the max it will hold, 1 gig I think. Ram is cheap. Just boot off of the XP install cd, you might have to go into the computer's setup and tell it to boot off the cd first, and then follow the prompts.
