Will garden lime help to disolve dog feces?

I have a small area of my yard fence in and my dog goes there all the time, she will not have a bowel movement on her daily walks and she will not go near or in her kennel.

Is there a reason you cannot simply remove the poop and send it out with your regular garbage on trash day??
