so i decided to join the debate team at my highschool and i am completely lost. Any tips hints or tricks. Our first match is Nov. 14. Also can someone plz explain to me the Value, and criteron and 3 contentions?

second tip: discuss your worries with your more experienced teammates, mentors and teachers. they have the experience to help and instruct you in the methodology of the debate. good luck and have fun.
