I have a jeep wrangler 4.0L, it misses when I first take off but once you go a couple...

...miles it straightens out? I have changed the spark plugs, plug wires, distributor button, and the coil. I also thought it might have been an injector so I ran two bottles of Lucas Fuel Injector cleaner though it, it didn't help. I have sprayed the engine down with water and carburetor cleaner and couldn't find any leaks around the head gasket. The check engine light also does not come on, ever. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Please be more specific as to what kind of problem you are having. I think I might know what you are talking about. I have a '96 Grand Cherokee 4.0L HO. Sometimes right after I start it and begin to go down the street, it will bog down real hard around 2000 RPM's. I maintain my entire vehicle very well, always changing stuff out and everything. This only happens to me the VERY FIRST time I accelerate above 20 mph. And after that it doesn't do it again until my truck is off for awhile. I don't really think this is a problem you are having if it's the same thing as me. It's probably normal, considering how well I take care of my truck. But please do tell more of what you are experiencing though. I usually just floor it when I first get it out on the street to clear out whatever makes my motor do that.
