it's called car maintenance. That's what happens when you own a car.

Get a set of Akebono ceramic brake pads.

"Mileage" is meaningless because it depends on driving environment. If you drive in urban areas, you'll wear the brakes out faster because you're using the brakes more often.

Perhaps you should have asked if other Toyota owners are having the same problem. I have three Toyota's and they are flawless. Are you certain you're not driving around with your foot on the brake? And what is going bad anyway the pads or the calipers. Toyota is the best car company I have ever dealt with. I never thought I would say that after having owned Honda's but I finding out they have a lot of good faith warranties. I just have never needed one.

not surprising, asians use cheap material so they more money, that's ALL they care about.

american and other cars, try to make more money, but at the same time, try to make their vehicles very good as well. They use good quality things

Toyota is a huge, rich company. Just because 20 people have faulty brakes isn't going to do anything, even if you get together. o.O"

Just go to a dealership or a body shop and have them fix your brakes; I personally would go to the dealership you got your Corolla at and tell them what's happened, I'm sure they'll help you.

DO NOT join a class action suite against a major car company. And think of the effect as well; another major car company losing major money over somebody that's complaining and not doing anything constructive, like going to the dealership FIRST. -_-"

    THINK people.
