doesn't the attempt in halting climate change kind of put the brakes on advancing via...

...evolution? (since science provides the theory that climate change is the driving force behind evolutionary changes)
i can see the eve-olutionists are not on the same page....climate change drives adaptation....envirinment forces the change

    No.

Uh, climate change is ONE "driving force" behind evolution; usually slow climate changes, not changes that happen this fast.

WE have created this change. Allowing it to continue would cause immeasurable suffering and death. Thus, we need to reverse it. Stopping the climate change we're causing will NOT end evolution.

And we're gonna have to put on some more taxes to stop this global warming,
especially so now that we see the other planets and moons are warming too. Did we do that too? Whatta loada krapp

No. Evolution will continue regardles of whether or not we act to mitigate the effects of global warming. (science provides no such thing. Climate change and evolution are mutually exclusive, though a changing climate can have the effect of hastening the evolutionary process.)

Of course - already some species are adapting to variations in long-term climatic conditions by altering behavioural and physical characteristics.

Climatic change is the great instigator for adaption and has always been.

Unfortunately, most people are told by those with a vested interest that climate change is a new phenomenon whereas it has been occurring since the beginning of our planet.

It is rather selfish of our society to want to keep things the way they are now without respecting nature's natural fluctuating conditions.

Climate change is only one of many forces driving evolution. And this rapid climate change is more a driver of extinction than anything else. Sure, that may make room for new species, but who wants to wait a million years for the replacements to evolve?

Climate change is not the driving force behind evolution, natural selection is.

Although life does evolve in response to climate change, climate change is just ONE of MANY environmental factors which influence evolution, and is certainly NOT necessary for evolution to occur.

the climate is changing too fast. in the past it was slow enough for animals to adapt now its going too quick

First evolution takes billions of years... then it occurs in spurts , short periods of time
Very few people can see these hominid bones that are allegedly proof of macro evolution. They are guarded like the Dead Sea Scrolls.
    Some have been faked.
Anthropology isnt' even a real science. It isn't like physics or mathematics. It's simply the study of man.
    Could it be more nebulous?
Somebody has too much grant money to throw around.
Anthropology is divided into two categories. Cultural is just an excuse to take a vacation in a tropical rain forest. Physical antho is the science of studying these alleged bones that we don't really have proof of since only a handful of them have been dug up.
The whole field is quackery and takes tremendous amounts of faith to buy into.
For godsakes, just rebury Lucy and let's just move on with life and legitimate investigations like why male atheists have been proven to have smaller genitals and cranial capacity than Christian men.
