Was Henry Ford the best example of how U.S. business owners should run a model

U.S. business? It seems that we can't legislate our way to making companies and the management put employees and fair business practices equal to profit considerations.........what can we do?
Henry Ford believed that he should pay his workers well so that they could afford to buy his products.
He believed that strong businesses with fair business practices would make communities and the country and her people strong and better and he could still become incredibly wealthy!

Yes, that is how it should be.

Unfortunately though, this is 2009, and we have to compete with Chinese and other low income Asian workers. Factories are moved off-shore because Americans prefer buying cheaper foreign goods to more expensive local ones.
Henry Ford never faced that problem. America was the factory country back then, now China has the mantle.

Republicans believe we all should work for low wages and no benefits.

We call it the Wal-Mart model.
