Installed Twain Driver for Kyocera all in one...HELP please?

Installed the proper driver for the kyocera 250ci.
My system recognizes it. When I pull up the software - I am able to pull up the driver - etc...and it will not scn becasue it says it cannot communicate with the scanner. The all-in-one is wireless - with a USB option. The printer/fax works fine on the network - etc...
Do I need to use a USB for the TWAIN driver to be able to communicate with the machine in order to use the scanning function in this medinotes software?
The software recognizes the driver and the scanner - but it says it cannot communicate with the machine - will hooking up a USB from kyocera to main workstation inter fear with the wireless connect it has now?

You cannot scan wireless; you can only print wireless.

Use the USB cable to scan with TWAIN drivers. Otherwise, you will have problems all the time.
