Okay, so i've got to do an essay for US History, but I'm not quite sure which key points to put in it. The prompt is below. The essay has to be 2-3 pages long. I'm not asking for a complete essay, although that would be awesome, i just need facts to throw in there and points to make.


There are four major pivot points or watershed occurrences in American history prior to 1877: Revolution/Constitution, Jeffersonian Democracy, Jacksonian Democracy and the Civil War/Reconstruction. Which one do you believe had the greatest impact on making the country what it is today? Why? Be sure to explain how your choice had a greater impact than the other periods citing specific historical events as proof of your conclusion.
