Easy Recipes to cook?

Easy, chicken cut up and browned in oil and garlic. Then add HOT sliced and SWEET peppers with some onion sliced, salt and pepper and some cicken stock. Add some peeled and sliced potato's and there you go. Put in oven with enough liquid to bake for about an hour. Serve with some salad. God bless you and your husband and thank you.

I am looking for some easy recipes to make for lunch/dinner.
Please share some of your favorites.
My husband and I am both young (19) and do not know how to cook.
It is sad.
He is currently deployed and when he gets home, I would like to surprise him by showing him I am learning how to feed him some meals.
