    it effects it but not so much if u like ur long hair keep it
    it prob cuts down mabey a .1 of a second at most if u cut it

    Your hair is going to influence it...but not enough that if you like it then don't cut it. It will not make you .1 seconds faster, not even close because for the 100 .1 is actually quite a lot of time for just hair. It probably would not take off enough time to really influence the sprint.

    Does having long hair slow you down in sprinting?

    Does having long hair slow you down in sprinting?
    I seen some pro sprinter with dreads (what im trying to get)
    A senior last year at my school won state in the 400 with about a month old dreads
    but that race is totally different than 100m..
    Whats your thoughts, any past experiences?
    And how much time would it take off???
