Thread: Why is Chavez overreacting to the strike against the FARC?

This is like North Korean getting mad at the Israelis for bombing Syria, not that they had a team down there working on a nuclear facility or anything.... Not that Chavez is in bed with the FARC or anything, he's just closing the Colombian embassy in Caraccas because...??? Any Venezuelans/Chavistas care to explain?

The only people on Yahoo that would defend Chavez aren't intelligent enough to do so. You need to contact Danny Glover or Sean Penn directly to hear a good excuse (it would still be incredibly inane and full of holes, but it would sound good to the liberals).
As to your question, Chavez needs to keep US the bad guy and since Columbia gets along with us, he can blame them for problems within his own nation. (See, he doesn't have a large Jewish population, so he needs a connection to America to decry)
